DESCRIPTION OF INDIVIDUAL ITEMS
a. Impression Tray (IMPRESSION TRAY, DENTAL). Impression trays (figure
5-1) are carriers for the material used in making impressions of the teeth, alveolar
ridges, and adjacent structures. They are manufactured in various sizes and shapes to
accommodate the size and shape of the arch, the type of impression material to be
used, and the impression technique to be followed.
