b. Poison Oak. Poison oak (figure 3-2) is often confused with poison ivy. It can
be distinguished from poison ivy by the shape of its leaflets (poison oak has rounder
leaflets with wavy edges).

Poison oak grows as a small plant, either as a vine or shrub.
(2) Leaves of the poison oak plant always consist of three glossy leaflets
with wavy edges.

Poison oak has greenish-white flowers and berries that grow in clusters.
