d. Warrant Officers (AMEDD).
e. Enlisted personnel, whose duties are to perform technical and administrative
functions.
f. Civilian employees, including physicians, dentists, veterinarians, nurses,
specialists in the allied medical sciences, medical support and service personnel,
contract surgeons, and professional consultants.
NOTE:
In addition to personnel, the Army Medical Department is authorized the
facilities, supplies, and equipment necessary to accomplish its mission.

THE SIX SPECIALIZED CORPS OF THE ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT
The Army Medical Department contains six specialized corps, each with its own
area of responsibility. Each corps contributes to the basic mission by effectively
performing its own particular mission. The six specialized corps are:
a. The Medical Corps.
b. The Dental Corps.
c. The Veterinary Corps.
d. The Medical Services Corps.
e. The Army Nurse Corps.
f. The Army Medical Specialist Corps.
