c. Durability. The configuration of the tray pack can makes it much less
durable than the cylindrical Number 10 can; therefore, it is much more susceptible to
mechanical damage during transportation, handling, and storage. Under normal
conditions, the tray pack should last 3 years.
d. Landmarks of a Tray Pack Can. The characteristic parts of a tray pack can
may be noted in Figure 1-11. Easily identifiable are the double seams, the fluted
corners, reinforcement beads, and the labeling surface on the top.
