4-16. EVALUATION AND INTERPRETATION
a. Examine the imaged bar patterns using a magnifying glass, if necessary.
b. Find the smallest group in which all three bars can be seen clearly.
c. Note the number by the set of bars.
d. Determine the dimension of the effective focal spot.

Use the chart provided by the manufacturer.
(2)
Find the number by the set of bars most clearly seen.
(3)
Read to the right of the chart to find the dimension.
(4) Measure the distance between the set screws imaged on either side of
the test pattern.
(5)
Measure the hole separation at 40 millimeters.
