c. Hemiptera are pinned through the central dorsal scutellum. In case the
specimen is large, such as a large assassin bug, the abdomen may have to be
supported to prevent sagging (see figure 4-3).
d. In all cases of pin mounts, the pin is inserted through the specimen until
1/4-inch of the pin is showing above the specimen.
