diseases.
2-2. Identify the difference between a foodborne
infection and a foodborne intoxication.
2-3. Identify the agents which cause common
foodborne diseases.
2-4. Identify common plants, animals, and chemicals
involved in foodborne poisonings.
2-5. Identify from descriptions of foodborne disease
outbreaks, the specific diseases involved, the
reasons for the disease outbreaks, and
preventive measures that could have been
taken.
