a. Parotid Glands. These glands are the largest of the three salivary glands.
They are located on each side of the face just below and in front of the ear.
b. Submandibular Glands. These glands are located in the floor of the mouth
behind and somewhat below the body of the mandible, just forward of the angle of the
jaw.
c. Sublingual Glands. These glands are the smallest of the three salivary
glands. They are located just below the mucous membrane in the floor of the mouth,
beneath the lateral aspects of the tongue.
