(c) Position. Body rotated 40 to 70 midpoint between vertebral
column and lateral aspect of the body placed over center of table. Iliac crests at level of
the lower film border.
(d) CR-UP. Align to the skin marking made surfing fluoroscopy and to
the center of the film.

Precaution. Suspended respiration.

(g) Variation. For suspected diaphragmatic hernia, tilt the patient 15
