1-30. ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION OF DECIMALS
When adding and subtracting decimals, remember to keep all the decimal points
directly underneath each other.
EXAMPLE: Add 13.102, 1.73, and .47.

EXAMPLE: Subtract 4.56 from 8.2.
What you will need to do is change 8.2 to 8.20. (Remember, you can always
add a zero to the end of a decimal without changing its value).

a. A decimal may be divided by a whole number by dividing in the usual manner
and placing the decimal point in the answer directly above the decimal point in the
number to be divided.
