For example, if record 434-22-4515 is needed, the clerk looks first for the primary group
"15" files. Within this group, he looks for the secondary group "45" files. Within this group,
he looks for the folder numbered 43422. When filing records, read the SSN backwards
rather than the normal way. Read the last two digits first 9 in the example above, 15), then
the next two digits (45), then the remaining digits (43422). Ignore any commas, hyphens,
spaces, or letters used with the SSN. (See figure 1-16.)
