Primary Reference Source. The detailed procedures and instructions for
counting workload and collecting, reporting, and transmitting data on the Worldwide
Workload Report provided here are used by Tri-service major Army commands
(MACOMs), medical centers (MEDCENs ), medical department activities (MEDDACs),
divisions, separate brigade medical services, functioning National Guard and Reserve
MTFs, and other types of functioning MTFs. These procedures have been taken from the
Worldwide Workload Report User's Manual.

USES OF THE WWR
The WWR is a source of statistical data for planning, formulation of policies, and
operation of the Military Health System (MHS). Examples of primary uses of this report are
budgeting and financial planning; manpower and staffing; facilities and equipment
procurement; operational capability analysis, and patient management during peacetime
and wartime. After validation by the Services, the WWR data are used to generate reports
