(5) Monthly MEPRS Report. The monthly MEPRS report should also be
reviewed for accuracy prior to generating the WWR.
c. Quality Control / Verification of Reported Workload.
(1) Audit Trail. Each medical treatment facility must have an easily auditable
workload collection and reporting system. The minimum acceptable system will consist of
:
(a) A log (such as appointment schedules or lists) for each provider,
indicating patients seen, whether inpatient or outpatient, family member prefix, sponsor's
social security number, category of beneficiary, and date of visit. Be sure to delete "no
shows" and add "walk-ins" and telephone consultations.
(b) Verify the accuracy of totals on the summary with the log sheets.
