modem or wide area network (WAN) to Customer Service Division (CSD), Corporate
Executive Information System (CEIS)/Patient Administration Systems and Biostatistical
Activities (PASBA). It is considered a migration system to the CHCS WWR. This system
is available to reporting fixed and nonfixed MTFs without DoD standardized systems.
1-12. WWR DATA FLOW
In many instances, several MTFs share the CHCS equipment. In these instances,
there is one reporting MTF for reporting (group) subordinate MTFs and several division
MTFs for reporting their subordinates. The CHCS WWR flows from subordinateMTFs
through group and division MTFs. Ultimately, the Services pass the information to the
at Appendix D.) Figure 1-4 illustrates the current CHCS WWR data flow from MTFs to the
Services biometrics agencies. Figure 1-5 illustrates the CHCS WWR data flow through
the Services to the Regional IDBs. Figure 1-6 illustrates the proposed CHCS WWR data
flow if the Services opt to place the WWR on the IDB first. In this last option, the IDB
performs content and validity edits on MTF WWR inputs. The reports havingedit failures
are reported to the Services. The Services contact the MTFs to correct and resubmit
corrected reports. While the system to replace the DMIS-SS is pending design, presume
the information shown flowing to DoD(HA) in figures 1-5 and 1-6 go to the DMIS-SS until
further notice.
