(3) Internal Review Branch. The Internal Review Branch conducts internal
review programs and conducts audits for non-appropriated funds.
(4) Commercial and-Industrial-Type Activities Branch. The CITA Branch
maintains an inventory of CITA, conducts studies involving contracting-out verses in-
house, and oversees the conduct of comparative cost analysis to ensure compliance
with established milestones.
(5) Nursing Methods Branch. The Nursing Methods Branch conducts
studies pertaining to nursing as it impacts on facilities planning, personnel utilization,
and staffing and nursing methods; assists in solving nursing problems; and conducts
studies on equipment procurement and utilization.
z. Plans, Operations, Training and Security Division. The Plans,
Operations, Training and Security Division prepares mobilization expansion and other
emergency plans, administers military training requirements, implements plans for
training RC personnel, and coordinates the training of Emergency Medical Teams.
(1) Plans Branch. The Plans Branch prepares, coordinates, and maintains
all plans developed by the division.
(2) Operations and Training Branch. The Operations and Training Branch
coordinates the training programs assigned to the division, assists in developing
medical support requirements including air ambulance support, and coordinates RC
training activities.
(3) Security Branch. The Security Branch establishes, coordinates, and
administers internal policies and procedures governing personnel and information
security. This includes security training, storage, briefings, and access. The branch
aa. Clinical Support Division. The Clinical Support Division provides
centralized administrative management support to all professional elements of the
hospital, develops appropriate training programs, and reviews administrative work
methods with in the division and within professional elements as directed. The division
may be located either under the Chief, Administrative Services or the Chief,
Professional Services.
(1) Inpatient and Ancillary Support Branch. The Inpatient and Ancillary
Support Branch provides administrative support services to professional inpatient and
ancillary organizational elements, coordinates in-service education programs (nursing
programs are excluded), assists the PAD concerning completion of inpatient records
and patient disposition, operates the hospital information desk, and provides
administrative stenographic and typing support services as required. The stenographic
and typing support does not include support for PAD responsibilities or the central work
processing activity of the hospital.
