programs and maintains liaison with the Civilian Personnel Office (CPO) on matters
pertaining to civilian employees.
(1) Personnel Branch. The Personnel Branch provides military personnel
administration services and maintains liaison with the CPO.
(2) Morale Support Branch. The Morale Support Branch provides and
coordinates various recreational services for patients.
(3) Other branches. The division also organizes hospital companies or
detachments for permanent party personnel and for military patients, organizes
separate student and trainee companies and detachments for military personnel, and
organizes the Patients' Clothing and Baggage Section.
x. Food Service Division. The Food Service Division provides comprehensive
nutritional services in support of the patient care mission of the hospital. The division
provides appropriate dietetic treatment for patients as prescribed by the hospital
medical and dental staff, conducts training programs, operates nutrition clinics,
maintains food cost records, and evaluates the work methods and procedures used
within the division.
(1) Clinical Dietetics Branch. The Clinical Dietetics Branch develops diet
regimens to meet specifications made by the medical and dental staff and provides
dietary counseling to patients.
(2) Production and Service Branch. The Production and Service Branch
obtains, prepares, and serves food to inpatients and to other authorized personnel
(hospital staff, etc.) This branch organizes the following elements to carry out its
mission: Kitchens Section, Dining Rooms Section, Pastry Unit, Subsistence Supply
Warehouse Section, Ingredient Unit, Meat Processing Unit, and Patient Tray Service.
y. Resource Management. The Resource Management provides a variety of
services pertaining to the programming, budgeting, accounting, review, analysis,
management assistance, internal review practices, and commercial and-industrial-type
activities (CITA). It conducts the annual Internal Review Program, operates appropriate
training programs, and advises the commander on resources management matters and
on overall management of the command.
(1) Program and Budget Branch. The Program and Budget Branch
provides program and budget services to the command, monitors accounting services,
and processes payment vouchers for medical care obtained from civilian sources.
(2) Management Assistance Branch. The Management Assistance Branch
provides systems analysis and design services for space and layout survey and
management, manages the Management System Program, and manages the
Management Information Control System.
